I've always said there are two types of people in the world. Cat People and Dog People. I'm a Cat Person.
No offence to all you Dog People out there, but I generally don't like dogs. Cats are less work, less mess and (in my opinion) are much better cuddlers. Cats are quieter and less needy and you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn in the winter to walk them.
However, last night I came very close to falling in love with a dog.
I challenge even the most devout Cat Person to resist that face. I just wanted to eat him up and snuggle him.
Not to be outdone, I came home last night and that adorable creature up there was very angry with me. I picked her up to cuddle with her, and she could TOTALLY sniff Dog on me and let me know (with a nice sized scratch) that my associating with dogs would not be tolerated.
So readers, Are you a Cat Person or a Dog Person?

CAT person!! I never even had a pet until last year, and I was determined it was going to be a puppy. The husband insisted on a kitten and we brought her home and I've been IN LOVE ever since. I don't think I'll ever get a dog! :-P

I'm allergic to both, but I have always wanted a dog and I finally got mine last year and I'm coping with the allergy issues--they're getting more minimal as time goes on. I never realized how much of a dog person I was until I had one of my own, and now I want to take home every dog I see! The one in your post is SO cute. As for cats, I've only met one that I ever liked. I think cats are moody and anti-social in general, but I haven't been around that many. I just love my dog because she is so affectionate and always wants to be around people.
