Daily Dose of Random: Opinion Poll

Well the time has come, right at this moment ShyBoy is in the sunny Dominican Republic probably relaxing in gorgeous sunshine. I'm so very jealous. I also have to admit that it feels a little strange not to talk to him at all today. My phone feels a little sad without the occasional text message from him. So I've decided to keep myself busy this week with work, friends and blogging.

The idea for this post came to me very randomly a few mornings ago. My mom made a comment to me that got me thinking. When I brush my teeth, I use warm water. Not scalding hot, but certainly not cold. I always find that cold water hurts my teeth a little. My mom said this is wierd and she could not imagine using warm water. It got me thinking. Which is normal?

Do you use warm or cold water? and why? I'm honestly sooo curious!

  1. I'm going to agree with your mom here...warm water is odd.

    I use cold water.

  2. Cold, but I never thought of using warm! I will try this tonight. My teeth are sensitive too so maybe this is a better idea for me...

  4. I use cold, more because I just turn on the water and put my brush in it. The tap water isn't freezing so it doesn't hurt my teeth. I has never occurred to me to try warm water. Hmm.

  5. I put the paste on my brush and put it under hot water, and then rinse my mouth out with cold. LOL! I think I'm just as weird :P

  7. Cold but because of you, I might try warm this time. You are not weird, you are just being you.

Cheer up. I'm sure ShyBoy will text you sooner or later.

Catch up with you later. It is past my bedtime here. BUT before that, I shall brush my teeth with warm water!

  8. I am a little bit like Pinkbilly in the sense that I use both. To "disinfect my brush" (because it's been sitting on my counter all day!) I use hot hot hot water to rinse the brush, then when rinsing my mouth it's gotta be ice cold. I have forgot to switch the taps a couple times and have ended up rinsing with the warm water... GAG.

Here's probably something weirder... I don't do it anymore, but as a kid I used to refrigerate my mouth wash lmao.

  10. I use warm water too... I'm embarrassed about it, since it's a waste of electricity/resources... I really became more careful about using/over-using certain things. Plus the ecology. It's important nowadays.
