I've seen similar lists on some of my favourite Blogs and I think it's a great idea. This is a compiled list of 20 +10 (in other words 30) things I would like to accomplish in 2010. My original idea was 210 things in 2010 - but I had enough problems coming up with 30. Every now and then I'll do an update to this list and broadcast how the mission is going. I encourage all of you to make a list like this, even if you don't intend to follow through on a single one. Simply the experience of listing all of these was very inspiring

ReplyDeleteIf you're going to read a novel (#2), I would suggest anything by Jane Austen, Pride & Prejudice or Persuasion in particular. Also try North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and Wuthering Heights by Emiliy Bronte.
Good luck with your list!
I love #26! lol i have the same problems :o) lol
ReplyDeleteI just learned to love tea in the past year or so. Anything chai is wonderful, and I'm also a huge fan of the orange blossom green tea at Starbucks, and when at work, I drink Lipton Mandarin Orange Green tea. It's so good!
ReplyDeleteAs for books, I loved Great Expectations, Tale of Two Cities, and Oliver Twist by Dickens, and Of Mice and Men, Grapes of Wrath, and East of Eden by John Steinbeck. I think those two classic authors aren't too intimidating...good luck! I love your whole list!
I never liked tea, but now I love chai!! Without milk though.. If you can get Twinings Indian Chai, that's pretty good.
ReplyDeleteAnd you can write a letter to me ;)
Good luck with the list!!
Go with Oliver Twist, you won't regret it
ReplyDeleteI love your list. I specifically agree with writing an actual letter. I miss my elementary and high school days when people exchange letters all the time. Gone are those days, given how accessible the Internet has become.
ReplyDeletethe only way i learnt to drink tea was adding HEAPS of sugar. like 2 huge spoonfulls.... and i have slowly worked down from here.
ReplyDeletegive it a go, if not maybe try flavored ones... maybe they will be a good start?
Love # 2...i am currently reading Twilight, it's so addicting!
ReplyDeleteI am excited for your 30 things! I'm looking forward to hearing about these accomplishments! :)
